Breguet is a producer of luxury watches, founded by Abraham-Louis Breguet in 1775 and based in the Vallée de Joux in Switzerland. Breguet's Type XX was designed in the 1950s for the French military aeronavale, and it now exists also as a civilian version with a self-winding movement. Its chronograph retains the fly-back function needed for flying search patterns. Its uncompromising looks and sturdy construction have made the Type XX popular among those who want an original and technical sports watch
